      Chamber Music Program

In addition to our Wind Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, and Symphony Orchestra Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra is Proud to offer a Chamber Music Program.    This consists of various small groups that rehearse and perform independent of the larger ensembles.  These include but are not limited to        String Ensembles,  Flute Ensembles,  Clarinet Ensemble,   Brass Ensemble,   Jazz Combo,    Woodwind Quintet, or any other group where there is interest.  Each group is coached by a professional musicians in their own area of expertise  These groups play in a variety of venues in the Capital District.  This year we will be performing at the Charles Wood Theater in Glens Falls on March 19,2006.

This year we have 6 Chamber groups organized so far.

2 string quartets..    Woodwind Quintet  ....Jazz Band....  Tuba Trio.... and a Flute/Cello duo.
