Gabrielle Beauregard is a junior at Mohonasen High School. She has been playing the violin for nine years. Currently, Gabby is the concertmaster of the high school orchestra as well as a member of the Select Orchestra. She joined SSYO in 2009, and is concertmaster of the String Orchestra. Gabby is also involved in the Tri- M and French Honor Societies. On her spare time, she enjoys writing the “Green Living” column in her school newspaper. She is looking forward to a bright future in both the Journalism and Music field.

Cindy Wong is a senior at the Shenendehowa High School. She is one of the two winners of the Concerto Competition this year and she is very excited to have the opportunity to perform at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in May. She has been with the Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra since the seventh grade. She enjoys the times at the Orchestra because it provides a very good experience for her as a musician. For the past two years, she has been the Concert Mistress for the Orchestra. Cindy also participates in the Pit Orchestra at the Shenendehowa High School. She started to play violin when she was a fourth grader and is a student of Mrs. Patricia Gray. When she is not playing violin, Cindy also enjoys playing piano at her leisure time. Besides being a musician, Cindy has actively participated in the community activities by volunteering herself in a local hospital and the public library. She also likes swimming and is a member of the swimming team at the Southern Saratoga YMCA.
